24-hour control rooms

24-hour control rooms started functioning at the Collectorate, Kozhencherry taluk office and Ranni taluk office (Ph: 04735-227442)  as a  part of the arrangements done by the  district administration for the smooth conduct of the annual Mandalam-Makaravilakku pilgrimage season at Sabarimala.

Additional District Magistrate would be posted at the control room at Collectorate and Deputy Tahsildars would be posted at Kozhencherry and Ranni Taluks to coordinate the functioning of various departments at the pilgrimage centre.
