Crowd control

The Travancore Devaswom Board requested to pilgrims to cooperate with authorities in helping with crowd control at the Sannidhanam. The queue system has been revised to help with process.

Those devotees without ‘irumudi’ and those who wish to have ‘darsan’ a second time should exit through the west side. Devotees should avoid the front of the Executive Office and open the irumudikettu only in the right side of the flyover to the Malikappuram.

Devotees who complete darshan should go back as quickly as possible to make it easy for others to complete their pilgrimage.

At present the Sannidhanam is experiencing an acute shortage of sufficient space as most of the nadapandal is being used by pilgrims who remain for a day or two even after completing darshan. This causes hardships to the devotees who reach later on. On heavy days the pilgrims are being forced to wait in queues for upto ten hours because of the lack of space at the Sannidhanam. The authorities requested the pilgrims’ cooperation by not staying too long at the Sannidhanam and to make way for the ever increasing number of devotees
